Yes, but IRL, gardening tomatoes is two-hundred fold. One tomato gives 30 seeds, each plant gives 20 tomatoes. They are irl easy to grow, and big producers. However, it takes a full season.
I think that gardening should be pretty easy- though its ok if it takes a while. NO matter how long it takes, it should be bountiful, or its not worth it.
Sometimes, you don't want to add too much challenge, but instead make it take longer- easy to get huge payoffs, but only if you're patient. Keep in mind that 1 tomato only fill 1.5 food points. that means that, currently, I have to grow 10 plants = (10 sq m) of tomatoes to have a good chance of being able to eat 1 tomato, and fill 1.5 food points. for 1 full belly per cycle, you need about 8 tomatoes = 80 plants. Isn't the growing cycle something like 2 real days? In this game, a growing cycle is pretty long. That means that you might need 10 full bellys per cycle = 800 plants. you need about a 28 x 28 plot for that. For me, Its just not worth it. But actually that size plot might be worth it to others, so IDK. Personally, I like gardening as opposed to farming. most of the plants do not lend themselves to being gardened with any payoff.
