Its pretty crazy how seriously everything is reacting to the Coronavirus. It is wise to practice the standard procedures like good hygiene and staying away from sick people, and avoiding unnecessary in-person social interactions temporarily. But please remember, you are mostly at risk if you are elderly or an infant... its good to take viruses and diseases seriously, but much of society is in a panic beyond what it needs to be in my opinion.
You might want to not watch TV or the news on the radio all day because it is non-stop corona-virus talk. I understand it is important and its a serious event, but you will scare yourself and others if you listen to that all day and worry about it all day. Its good to say on top of the facts and ontop of the news, but don't let yourself go into a panic. Stay calm, be clean and hygienic, and make sure you and your family are OK. Society will go on and continue. Stay calm and enjoy your time, life is too short to spend it in fear.
This sort of thing happened on a large scale after the 9/11 attack in New York in 2001. Many people watched TV all days and became afraid to leave their homes over fears of terrorists. The Patriot Act was also quickly signed and not many people or government officials fought it. It took away many freedom and privacy rights from people that we have never gotten back in the US. It used everyones fear to give the government more power over our lives. It has never gone away since. In fact, the Patriot Act was just renewed again a few days ago. Its been around for almost 20 years now!
As far as how does this effect FreeGamers and Sara's Simple Survival, well it doesn't too much. Its internet based :) But I've optimized Sara's Survival Server to be prepared to handle an increased load. I've made optimizations to be efficient on bandwidth and I may focus on that more. Also, the website and server will be online and available still throughout the coming year. We'll be here if you are stuck inside and need some fun people to talk with or a fun game to play. More updates and developments will be coming shortly. The community will continue to grow and I expect the next few months to be busy for us. We'll have new players joining us as society shelters over fears of the pandemic.
